ST ANN, Jamaica – An unknown thug shot and killed a man at a bar in Mansfield Heights, St Ann, early Sunday morning, June 4, 2023.

The police identified the deceased as Odane Hall, o/c Ratty, age 31, late resident of Gully Road, Oracabessa, St Mary.

The police report stated that at about 12;15 am on Sunday, June 4, 2023, the victim was in a watering hole when two masked men brandishing guns entered the premises and opened fire at the victim, hitting him before fleeing the scene.

A citizen summoned the police to the scene of the crime. Upon arrival, the police rushed Hall to the hospital, where he died.

The police did not establish a motive for the shooting. However, the police launched an investigation.

One resident who requested anonymity told the media she heard over 20 shots fired.

Friday night’s fatal shooting occurred at the shop in the yard where armed thugs shot and killed two men on Wednesday night, May 31, 2023. And according to reports, all five men are related.

According to the police, Friday night’s shooting occurred at about 9:30 pm at the shop located in the Gaza community. The victims were among a group hanging out at the shop when armed thugs approached the group and opened fire before escaping.

When all was said and done, three persons were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

A member of the group summoned the police. Upon arrival, the police rushed the injured men to the hospital, where they died.

The police identified the deceased as Conroy Lawrence, also called ‘Beenie,’ Chevon Gordon, o/c ‘Kong,’ and Carlesley Morris, also called ‘Shotta.’

The police are investigating the shooting.
