On Monday evening, May 22, 2023, Prime Minister Andrew Holness revealed the new composition of his Cabinet. But the reshuffle he promised the Jamaica people never happened. The PM thumbed his nose at the people and kept the under-performers they begged him to remove.

The non-significant changes include Floyd Green getting reinstated as Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Mining. At the same time, Pearnel Charles Jr replaces the soon-to-retire Karl Samuda as Minister of Labour and Social Security.
The Ministry of Transport and Mining, which Audley Shaw previously led, has been incorporated into Daryl Vaz’s Science, Energy, Telecommunications, and Transport portfolio.
