Dancehall Artist Kemar Highcon Arrested in Florida For Grand Theft Auto.

Media reports indicated that Broward County, Florida arrested and charged Dancehall artist Kemar Highcon with Grand Theft Auto. 

A mugshot of the “So Saucy” artist appeared on social media on Sunday. His arrest record revealed that the Margate police arrested him in Broward County at midnight on Friday, May 5, 2023. 

The 32-year-old artist’s real name is Kemar Emilio Woodfine, was booked into the Broward County central jail under statute 812-014-2C6, which describes the crime of Grand Theft Auto as when a person unlawfully takes another person’s property worth at least $750.

Highcon has since been released on a $500 bond. He is yet to speak publicly about the incident. But there have been mixed reactions in response to his arrest.

Dancehall artiste Skillibeng capitalized on a plane crash in St Mary and released “Coke Part 11” hours after a plane believed to have been carrying coke went down in St Mary.

Flashback: in 2021, the artist mesmerized the Dancehall space when he released the single “Coke” and filmed the video at the crash site of a plane that went down supposedly with drugs onboard. 

 Within hours of the latest drug plane crash in St. Mary, the deejay released part two of the “Coke” single with some help from the incarcerated DJ, Vybz Kartel, in the intro slot.

The Jamaican authorities have confirmed that a small plane went down in a wooded area in St Mary on May 5, 2023, killing the pilot, Dudley Beek, a former JDF officer, and injuring a passenger.

Some fans accused Skillibeng of being insensitive towards the victim and his family.
