As was expected, the 45th US President, Donald Trump, pleaded not guilty to 34 felony charges of falsifying business records in the Manhattan criminal court Tuesday afternoon, April 4, 2023.
Trump surrendered and was arrested by NY PD on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, before he was arraigned in a historic and unprecedented court appearance. The former president would have heard the charges against him for the first time.
The arraignment was routine. But the case is expected to get drawn out over the life of Trump’s 2024 candidacy as he fights the charges in court and public.
