WESTMORELAND, Jamaica— A Westmoreland businessman was gunned down at his home in Waterworks in the parish on Saturday morning, March 4, 2023.

 Dead is Fitzroy James, o/c “Suga.” James owned the Sugar Rock Lagoon, where he frequently hosted parties. James also owned the Star Castle guest house at Whitehouse in the parish.

According to early reports, James was at home in his backyard when the shooter attacked him.

Neighbors alerted the police, and upon their arrival, they found James lying face down with a headshot wound.

The police transported James to the Savanna-la-Mar Public General Hospital, where he died.

St Andrew man shot dead in Park Lane–Red Hills Road.

ST ANDREW, Jamaica— A man St Andrew man was shot and killed on Park Lane, Off Red Hills Road in St Andrew, Saturday evening, March 4, 2023.

The dead man has been identified only by his alias ‘Bigga.’

Reports are that at about 8:00 pm, residents in the area heard loud explosions and summoned the police to the scene. Upon arrival, the police found the man with multiple gunshot wounds.

Detectives from the St Andrew North Division are investigating.
