Man arrested on gun charge deemed person of interest in $10 billion robbery.

On March 3, 2023, law enforcement officers arrested a man for an illegal gun in Hellshire, St Cathrine. But strangely enough, the police treat the accused as a person of interest relating to the deadly Portmore Pines J$10 million robbery.

According to early reports, the police took the man in custody after they found a Sig Sauer 9mm pistol and a magazine containing nine rounds of Ammunition on his person.

According to reports, at about 2:45 pm, the police conducted a targeted operation in the Hellshire Beach area when they saw the suspect acting suspiciously. Once the man noticed the police were advancing toward him, he ran. However, the police accosted him and took the firearm and Ammunition off his person.

The police said they deemed him a person of interest based on information they had received since his arrest. However, they have withheld his identity pending further investigation.
