Trelawny man charged following a shooting incident

In Western Jamaica, the police have charged a 25-year-old Trelawny man with assault at common law, possessing a prohibited weapon, and discharging a prohibited weapon within a public thoroughfare. The charges stem from an incident on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, involving Rannaldo Wilson of Race Course, Falmouth Gardens, in the parish.
Reports are that at about 10:40 am, a man was standing at his gate when a motorcar carrying Wilson and two other men pulled up beside him. Wilson and one of the two men alighted from the vehicle, held the man at gunpoint, and ordered him into the car.
The unnamed man refused. And Wilson allegedly returned to the car and fired two shots at the man before the vehicle sped off.
The matter was reported to the police, who launched an investigation. Wilson subsequently turned himself into the police.
The police questioned and charged him on Sunday, February 5, 2023. His court date is pending.
Kingston Western wanted man turns himself into police.
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A Kingston Western man on the police wanted list turned himself in at the Denham Town Police Station on Monday.
He is Donovan Rowe, O/C ‘Chummy.’ Rowe. He was wanted for the murder of two men on Upper Oxford Street, Kingston, on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at about 9:40 am. Rowe was in the company of two other men at the time of the murder.
The police said Rowe was accompanied by a friend when he turned himself in on Monday, February 6, 2023, at about 1:20 pm.
The police said the other two men who were with Rowe at the scene of the murder are also listed as wanted. They are Jombo Barrett and Anthony Clarke, O/C ‘Delly,’
The police are urging members of the public with these men to contact the Denham Town Criminal Investigations Branch at 876-948-6443, Crime Stop at 311, the JCF tip-line at 811, or the nearest police station.
