Bolt’s money at SSL has been fleeced since 2012

A new SSL document seen by reporters has revealed that sprint legend Usain Bolt’s money at Stocks and Securities Limited, SSL, was being fleeced as far back as 2012, the same year he made the US-multi-million dollar investment in the now disbanded entity.
The documents suggest that it was withdrawn as soon as Bolt transferred monies to his Welljen account at SSL.

The documents revealed that the fastest man in the world was being defrauded for approximately 10 years–
between 2012 and 2022. A total of 6.2 million United States dollars was invested in his account at SSL. And 5.6 million US dollars, or 86 percent of the total deposited at SSL, between 2012 and 2017.

The monies were almost immediately withdrawn after they were deposited in cash and cheque between 2012 and 2017.

The outflows of monies from Bolt’s account are believed to include interest and dividends earned.

Bolt also invested an additional US$900,000 in his SSL account between 2019 and 2022.

That additional investment was made via 4 tranches. And that, too, appears to have been quickly withdrawn.
The US 9-hundred thousand dollars were transferred from Welljen’s SSL account via internal cash transfers or to other client accounts for encashment by designated bearers.

The monies were withdrawn from Bolt’s account after SSL employee Jean Ann Panton received email authorization under the name and signature of Bolt’s former business manager, Norman Peart.
Mr. Peart has denied that he sent those emails. And he has strenuously maintained his innocence in the matter.
Bolt’s account has been managed by Panton since it was opened in 2012.

Panton is now the subject of a significant fraud investigation at SSL.
She’s expected to face criminal charges soon.
