The Half Way Tree police have reported that they have arrested Kemar Mc Carty, age 28, a taxi operator of Balcombe Drive, Kingston 11. According to the police, on November 8, 2022, McCarty assisted two men who robbed and sexually assaulted two women at their home.

According to information from the CCU, the police used technology to track down the vehicle McCarty was driving hours after the three men allegedly committed the crime. The police later located McCarty and arrested him.

Pursuant to the crime report. The Half Way Tree police stated that at about noon, November 8, 2022, the three men invaded the women’s home, robbed and sexually assaulted them, and left. The women alerted the police, who responded quickly. The police activated their tracking system. And located and intercepted the motor car was intercepted and searched, and McCarty was apprehended.

The police carried out a follow-up search at McCarty’s house and recovered the stolen items. The police interviewed McCarty in the presence of his lawyer and subsequently charged him with robbery with aggravation and aiding and abetting rape.

The accused is due to answer to the charges in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on December 9, 2022. The other two men are yet to get caught.

There is something weird about this case. McCarty did not participate in the rape, but the police recovered the allegedly stolen items at his house.
