The President has frequently criticized Carlson in recent months due to his former ally becoming more vocal against the Trump administration, particularly regarding its management of the Epstein files and the President’s stance on Iran.

Earlier this month, the President referred to Carlson as “a low-IQ person,” “stupid,” and “highly overrated” in several posts on Truth Social. He attacked Carlson along with other former allies, including Megyn Kelly, Alex Jones, and Candace Owens.

In a recent interview with Newsmax, Carlson said, “I’ve always liked Trump and still feel sorry for him, as I do for all enslaved people. Other forces constrain him. He can’t make his own decisions. It’s awful to watch.”

Last week, Carlson’s son, Buckley Carlson, who shares his uncle’s name, left his position as vice president and deputy press secretary to JD Vance.
