Collision Sunday: Three Died and at Least Four Hospitalized in St Mary, Trelawny, and Clarendon. In St Mary an early morning two-vehicle collision left three persons dead, and three others admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
The deadly Sunday collision occurred at 3 a.m. on Sunday along the Whitehall Main Road in St Mary.
Law enforcement said the deadly collision involved a beige Toyota Corolla and a gray Honda Stream. Both vehicles reportedly traveled in opposite directions along the roadway. Upon reaching a section of the roadway, the Honda Stream lost control and collided with the Corolla.
The occupants of both motor vehicles sustained injuries. Responding officers and good Samaritans transported the victims to the Port Maria Hospital. Hospital authorities admitted three in critical condition and certified three deceased.
It is said that the three deceased were returning home from a wake. One of the deceased is said to be a student of Carron Hall High.
The police are investigating the Sunday collision to find out what exactly what happened.

According to reports, four people got injured in a Sunday collision involving two vehicle collision along the North Coast Highway in Trelawny.
Full details of the accident are not yet available. But, unconfirmed reporting indicated that good Samaritans swiftly transported the victims to the Falmouth Hospital, where they were admitted. Reports on the condition of the victims were unavailable
The traffic accident reportedly occurred at about 6:30 p.m., near the Royalton Hotel. The accident involved a Honda Civic and a Toyota Voxy.
Emergency services responded to the scene and removed the damaged vehicles.
The police are investigating to find out the cause of the accident.
