Kingston Mayor Andrew Swaby wants to meet with the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) to discuss their drivers causing traffic jams and unsanitary conditions near St. William Grant Park in downtown Kingston.

He mentioned that this issue has been brought up before and it’s making it difficult for the city to maintain order in public spaces. Mr. Swaby also pointed out that the drivers are parking on the sidewalk next to the park, causing traffic and allowing unsanitary behavior. He has asked the JUTC drivers to follow the city’s rules.
