LUCEA, HANOVER, Jamaica– On Friday, November 24, 2023, law enforcement officers in Hanover responded to a shooting in Green Island Square, where armed thugs shot and killed one man and injured another.

Dead is Adrian Anglin, 37, a taxi operator from Salt Spring in Green Island, Hanover.
According to the Lucea police, at about 4:50 p.m., Anglin was sitting among a group of people in a car park when a Toyota Fielder motor car pulled up, and men armed with guns alighted and opened fire, hitting Anglin and another man.
Citizens rushed the injured men to the hospital, where the authorities pronounced Anglin dead and admitted the other man for treatment.
The police did not establish a motive for the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
