Thugs gunned down businessman in brazen daylight attack on Arthur Wint Drive.

ST ANDREW, Jamaica – On Tuesday afternoon, August 22, 2023, unknown assailants on a motorbike gunned down a businessman on Arthur Wint Drive in St Andrew.

Police identified the deceased as Dave Mighty, age 60.

According to a preliminary report, at about noon on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, Mighty was driving his vehicle in an easterly direction along Arthur Wint Drive when two thugs on a motorbike pulled up alongside his car and opened gunfire, hitting Wint in the upper body multiple times.

Wint’s car subsequently collided with the embankment at Mountain View Avenue and Tucker Avenue intersection.

A detective on the scene told Observer that Mighty was a resident of Top Range in Mountain View, St Andrew, and he operated a business in the area.  

The police have not yet established a motive for the killing.

Perplexed cops launched a probe into the Milk River murder.

 CLARENDON, Jamaica – Clarendon police are assembling the pieces to determine what led thugs to shoot and kill a male Milk River resident Monday night, August 21, 2023, along the Rowington Main Road in Milk River, Clarendon. 

The cops identified the deceased as Dwight Simpson, age 54.

According to reporting, at about 8:40 pm, on the day in question, Simpson was riding his bicycle along the Rowington Main Road when residents heard loud explosions and alerted the police.

Upon arrival, law enforcement officers found Simpson lying on his back with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

The police transported the wounded man to the May Pen Hospital, where he died.

The police are searching for clues to determine a motive for the killing.

Heartless thugs spilled the blood of a Taxi operator in Westmoreland.

WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — According to reporting, the bloodletting in Westmoreland–unknown assailants shot and killed a taxi operator in Burnt Savannah, Westmoreland, on Monday, August 21, 2023. 

Police identified the deceased as Alden Watson, age 47, a late taxi of Darling Street, Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland.

The police said the unfortunate incident occurred at about 9:40 pm on Monday, August 21, 2023. Residents in the Burnt Savannah community reportedly heard loud explosions and alerted the police.

Upon arrival, law enforcement officers found Watson in his Toyota motorcar suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. 

The police transported Watson to the hospital, where the authorities pronounced him dead.

The police did not establish a motive for the killing. The investigation continues.
