Sadly, the 15-year-old girl who was among three female thugs raped and beaten during a house invasion in Cotton Tree District, Albert Town, Trelawny, has succumbed to her injuries while getting treatment in the hospital.

Jamila Cole, age 15, a late student of Troy High School, died in a hospital located in the Corporate Area on Monday.

Her 39-year-old mother and 17-year-old, the vicious brutes beaten to a pulp, remain hospitalized.

According to reporting, two masked men entered their home on Sunday morning through a glass window.

The men reportedly used pieces of board to beat the mother and the teen girls in their heads. 

The men raped and beat Jamila, tied her up, and left the poor child in a yam field near her home.

The Police assisted all three victims to the hospital, where Cole died. 

The police arrested a person of interest in the Trelawny home invasion murder.

The Trelawny police reported that they arrested a suspect concerning the death of a 15-year-old girl who was severely beaten by thugs during a home invasion in Albert Town, Trelawny, on Sunday.

Jamiliah Cole, a student at Troy High School in the Trelawny, died at about 8:00 pm at Kingston Public Hospital.

The Commanding officer for the Trelawny Police, Deputy Superintendent Winston Milton, and concerned citizens seek the public’s assistance to help bring the perpetrator to justice.

The child’s mother and cousin were also physically assaulted by the intruders, but the cousin managed to escape and raise the alarm.

The woman remains in the hospital in a critical condition.

The deceased’s father, Shirley Cole, believes the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute.

The Albert Town Police are investigating.
