In breaking her silence on the murder of her child, Danielle’s mother is questioning what made the perpetrators attack her 8-year-old.
The young mother says upon hearing the news that her child could not be found, she rushed to the school barefooted.
She is mesmerized by the motive that could have led someone to murdered her harmless daughter.
The grade two Braeton Primary and Infant School student in St. Catherine was abducted at the institution, and her throat slashed.
She was left for dead along Roosevelt Avenue in St. Andrew on Thursday, June 9, 2023..
Danielle was later found by a member of the Jamaica Defence Force and rushed to hospital.
Danielle’s murder has resulted in widespread condemnation across the country.
The police are still trying to put the pieces together in their attempts to make an arrest in the case.
According to Danielle’s mother, she was in disbelief.
