The police charged the teen, a resident of Seventh Stree, on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at the Metcalfe Juvenile Center in the presence of his attorney.

According to reports, at about 2:30 p.m., on October 24, 2023, armed men kicked open the door to a house on Seventh Street, shot and killed 21-year-old Shamar Muir, and assaulted a teenage girl. Residents summoned the police. The police launched an investigation. And after an intensive probe, they charged the teen with murder, conspiracy to murder, illegally possessioning ammunition, and housebreaking with intent.
Law enforcement officers are actively searching for the other man involved in the incident.
The police charged two men with firearm offenses.
The police have arrested and charged Randy Cole, 25, tattoo artist of Waterloo district, Ewarton, St Catherine, with wounding with intent, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, and unauthorized possession of ammunition concerning an incident on February 7, 2023.
According to the Half-Way Tree police, at about 9:40 p.m., February 7, 2023, Cole opened fire on the complainant along Bryce Hill Road, Kingston 6, hitting him in both legs. The complainant returned the fire, and Cole was shot and injured.

The police were summoned to the scene. Upon arrival, they found both men suffering from gunshot wounds. The police transported both injured men to the hospital, where they were admitted.
The police seized two firearms at the scene–one Taurus pistol and a Beretta 9mm pistol with a magazine containing thirteen cartridges.
The police subsequently charged Cole after a question-and-answer session. The other man was admitted to the hospital under police guard pending further investigation.
Barbican man charged with shooting with intent and possession of a prohibited weapon.
The Half Way Tree Police have arrested and charged Marlon McKreith, of Barbican Road, Kingston 6, with shooting with intent, possession of a prohibited weapon, accessory after the fact, misprision of a felony, and malicious destruction of property, concerning an incident on Beechwood Avenue, Kingston 5, on February 26, 2023.

According to the police, at about 11:25 p.m., on February 26, 2023, the driver of a Toyota Probox motor car pulled up at a petrol station on Beechwood and parked behind a Hyundai motor car driven by Marlon McKreith with two other men aboard. A verbal altercation developed between McKreith and the driver of the probox, during which McKreith allegedly fired a shot that damaged the left rear panel of the probox.
The police launched an investigation and subsequently arrested McKreith on March 17, 2023, during a police operation. The police later charged McKreith following a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.
McKreith is due before the court on March 29, 2023.
Law enforcement officers actively search for the shooter, whom they believe is a licensed firearm holder.
