The Trelawny police reported that two armed men shot and killed entertainer “Unknown Gringo” in Rock District, Trelawny, on Friday, March 10, 2023.

Dead is 39-year-old Frantz Morris, o/c “Unknown Gringo” and “Franchino,” resident of Retreat Heights in Falmouth, Trelawny.

According to the police, at about 12:30 am., Morris was sitting in his Toyota Crown motor car in Rock District when two unknown assailants approached him and opened fire.

Residents in the community alerted the police. And upon their arrival, they found Morris in the driver’s seat of his Toyota suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body.

The police took him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The police have launched an investigation.

The police have recovered a 9mm Pistol in a snap raid in Denham Town.

According to the police, a team of law enforcement officers assigned to the Denham Town police Station carried out a snap operation along Bread Lane, Denham Town, Kingston, at about 11:30 pm. on Thursday, March 9, 2023.

Upon seeing the police, a group of men flees. The police searched the area and found a black and silver Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol with a magazine containing eleven cartridges beside a tree. However, the police did not make any arrests.

Unknown assailants killed a man wearing dreadlocks in the street in Bickersteth.

The Montego Bay police have reported that unknown assailants have shot and killed a man wearing dreadlocks in Bickersteth square, St James, on Friday, March 10, 2023.

The police identified the man as Ezekiel Barrett o/c ‘Barka’ of Blue Hole and Richmond Hill in St James. 

According to the police, at about 7:20 pm., Barrett was standing in the square when armed men attacked him. The men shot Barrett multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. 

The Cambridge police are investigating.
