The police have taken a 17-year-old girl into custody following the death of a man with whom she had an altercation. 

The police identified the deceased as 20-year-old Fitz Fuller, o/c ‘Bless,’ of Golden Heights, Denham Town, in Kingston.

According to the police report, at about 10 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2023, the teen was supposedly walking along Last Street in Denham Town when Fuller allegedly attacked her.

The two people started fighting, and they inflicted wounds on each other. Residents in the area summoned the police. The police took both people to the hospital, where Fuller died. And the teen was treated and released. 

After an investigation into the matter, the police arrested the teen.

Alleged robbers fatally shot by police in Annotto Bay, St Mary.

The St Mary police have reported that they have shot and expired two men in a shootout in St Mary early Tuesday morning, March 7, 2023.

According to a preliminary report, a police team was on patrol in Annotto bay at about 3:00 am, Tuesday, March, when they spotted four men loading goods from business premises into a white Toyota probox motor car. 

Upon seeing the police, the men open fire at the police. The police returned the fire. And when the shooting ceased, the police found two men suffering from bullet wounds, and the other two men escaped on foot.

The police recovered one handgun and seized the car.

The injured men were pronounced dead at the hospital.
