Man Featured on JCF’s Wanted Wednesday Charged After Turning Himself in.
A man featured on the police wanted list last Wednesday, February 1, 2023, has turned himself in. The police have charged him with various offenses relating to a shooting on Eastbourne Road in Kingston 2, during which a woman sustained gunshot wounds.

According to detectives from the Kingston Eastern CIB, they have arrested and charged 43-year-old Marlon Stephenson, o/c’ Finger Blacks’ of Hypolite Road in Rockford, with wounding with intent and shooting with intent; after he showed up at the station in the company of his attorney.
According to preliminary reports, the woman was part of a group standing along the roadway when Stephenson attacked and shot her.
Two licensed firearm holders allegedly challenged Stephenson, and he fired at them.
The men managed to escape injury.
The injured woman was taken to the hospital and treated, and released.
Stephenson’s court date is pending.
Man charged with unlawful possession of rifle and ammunition after police found a rifle in a bag belonging to accused.
The police said they charged music selector Keron Watkins, 28, of Tavern Drive, Kingston 6, with Possession of a Prohibited Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition regarding an incident in his community on Sunday, January 22.
The St. Andrew Central CIB reports that they conducted a targeted raid in the Tavern community at about 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2023.
And a group of men standing along the roadway aroused their suspicions.
They accosted and searched the men, and they found one Palmetto PA15 rifle with a magazine containing four 5.56 rounds of ammunition inside a bag belonging to Watkins.
They arrested and charged Watkins for unlawful possession of a prohibited firearm and ammunition following a police interview in the presence of his attorney.
His court date is pending.
The Portland police charged a man with unlawful possession of a prohibited weapon and assault at common law.
Over in Portland, the police arrested and charged Oshane Gordon, 28, o/c ‘Blacks,’ higler, and construction worker of Caenwood District, Portland, with possession of a prohibited weapon and assault at common law, arising out of an incident that occurred on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.
According to the police, Gordon accused a fellow motorist of “bad driving” him while traveling on the Hope Bay main road in Portland.
He would have followed the motorist to a nearby restaurant, pointed a handgun, and then slapped him.
The motorist reported the incident to the police. And the police launched an investigation which led to Gordons’s arrest on Thursday, February 9, 2023. His court date is pending.
