Excerpts of what’s happening in Jamaica: Usain Bolt’s ultimatum to SSL has expired. And SSL has not returned any money.
The speed at which Usain Bolt’s lawyer gave SSL 10 days to return the money fleeced from his client’s account gave me the impression that he was grandstanding. Usain Bolt should have fired that lawyer immediately after he issued the 10-day ultimatum.
How can a serious lawyer issue a request before gathering facts about the matter? I am surprised Usain Bolt does not have a personal lawyer who could have advised him appropriately on how to proceed. The 10-day ultimatum has expired, and he is no closer to getting his money back.
