American rapper Meek Mill was in Ghana on Thursday, December 29, 2022, to perform at the Afro Nation concert. But he had a hard time leaving the venue After his performance. Excited fans gave him the Royal treatment and mobbed him.
On Friday, Mill shared a series of Instagram videos of him fighting to get away from excited fans who were grabbing and mobbing the rapper. Apparently Meek Mills never had fans treated him like that before.
According to reports, the rapper was leaving the show when a large crowd of excited fans tried to grab onto him. He would later shared videos of himself leaving the event on a dirt bike.
“They roughed me up, but the love overpowered it,” Meek Mill captioned the video footage below. “Almost went from dreams to nightmares quick. Lol.”

He also shared that he was separated from his phone, perhaps in the crowd.
They pickpocketed me for my phone,” he said in another Instagram Story. “[Shaking my head]. Bring that jawn back if you got it.”

In another post, he hilariously shared, “the first time I had to tuck my chains, I couldn’t breathe.” Shortly after Meek shared that his phone was missing, Ghanaian Superstar Shatta Wale sent out a plea that the artist’s phone is returned swiftly.
In a tweet, Shatta Wale wrote, “Streetz, if you know you have Meek Mill’s phone, please return if that’s true. You can’t do that to a real hustler. By [tomorrow] morning, return a.m. Meek inspires all of us on the street a lot,” Shatta said.
In the meantime, the rapper updated fans that he had retrieved his phone.
“I want to say thank you guys for getting this phone back to my life, man, y’all didn’t let them hack me, right commander?” Meek asked a police officer in a video he shared.
