
St Elizabeth crime scene: The police reported that they had charged a 31-year-old man from Castleton District in St Elizabeth with murder after he allegedly fatally stabbed a man at Braes River District in the parish on Sunday, October 23.
Charged is Ricardo Coldspring, an unemployed person.
Dead is 30-year-old Kemar White, a higgler of Crossmond District in St Elizabeth.
Reports are that at about 10:00 pm, Coldspring and White had a dispute when he allegedly used a knife and used stab White in the chest. The police took White to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The police charged the accused after he gave a caution statement.
Hanover crime Report:
The police reported that they have charged a British male visitor with rape. He is Dewi Games, a 29-year-old electrician from South Wales in the United Kingdom. Dewi allegedly followed a woman into her hotel room and had sexual intercourse with her against her will on Tuesday, October 25.
According to the Lucea Police at about 8:00 pm, on Tuesday October 25, 2022, the woman was at the hotel’s main pool when she asked Games and his wife permission to use their phone charger. Games offered to assist but insisted on carrying the charger to the victim’s hotel. Upon reaching the room, Games said he wanted coffee. The Games allegedly pushed the woman face down on the bed and had sexual intercourse with her against her will. She reported the incident to the hotel’s management and alerted the police.
On Friday, October 28, the victim positively identified the suspect, and the police charged him with rape.
His arraignment is set for Wednesday, November 2nd at tthe Lucea Parish Court.
