The police reported that they have formerly charged female suspect Kayodi Satchell with the abduction and murder of eight-year-old Danielle Rowe.

The police said the 30-year-old dental assistant of Padmore, St. Andrew, and Twickenham Park, St. Catherine, is the intimate partner of Danielle Rowe’s father.

The police arrested her on August 11, 2023. And an eyewitness pointed her out on an ID parade on August 25, 2023.

Satchell is accused of abducting Danielle from Braeton Primary in St. Catherine, slashing her throat, and dumping her in St. Andrew, where a good samaritan found her and took her to the hospital.

She died a few days later after emergency surgery.

St Mary police are searching for five thugs involved in a supermarket robbery.

According to reports, at about 4 pm, five men armed with handguns entered the supermarket at Three Hills in Retreat, St. Mary, and held the owner, a Chinese national, at gunpoint and stole over $230,000.
