Bogue Village Housing Village Scheme in Montego Bay, St James was the scene of a brutal murder Wednesday night, March 29, 2023; unknown assailants shot and killed a man.
The Freeport police identified the deceased as Oneil Jones, mason of Parry Town in St Ann.
According to the Freeport police, at about 9:00 pm, Bogue Housing Scheme residents heard loud explosions like gunshots. And saw a man running from where a white Toyota parked along the roadway.
They alerted the police, and upon arrival, the police examined the car and found multiple bullet holes all over the vehicle.
The police searched the area and found Jones’ body in a nearby yard with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.
The police transported Jones to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where a doctor pronounced him dead.
