Prime Minister Holness said the Government would be moving with haste and eagerness toward transforming Jamaica into a republic.

Minister (Marlene Malahoo Forte is the minister responsible for escalating the Republic status.), please move ahead with speed and alacrity on this matter. Jamaica must become a Republic.”
