From all indications, Grizzly Plantation Cove was the place to be on New Year’s Day. And you would have listened to great music from Buju Banton and Jamaica’s favorite Reggae crooner, Beres Hammond, singing ‘Tempted To Touch.’ If you weren’t there, you would have missed the show of a lifetime.
Beres and Buju together was an opportunity many people have been waiting to see since Buju was released from prison. But the long wait ended at Grizzly Plantation Cove on New Year’s Day, Jan 1, 2023, courtesy of FYVE Events and Talents Limited and A-Team Management. The event was appropriately named “Intimate.”
It was an intimate moment many will cherish for the rest of their lives. And we may never see anything live it again. So, for those not fortunate to witness music history, the Gleaner has provided us with a video excerpt of the event.
