Kymani Marley was arrested for driving on a suspended license.

According to reports, actor and Reggae artiste Kymani Marley was arrested yesterday, November 3, 2022, by the Pembroke Pines Police Department in Florida for driving on a suspended license.

Senior Public Information Officer at the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) Public Information Office, Carey Codd, has confirmed the arrest reports and told The STAR that at the time of its inquiry, jail records showed that Marley was out of custody. 

The offense of driving with a suspended license in Florida is classified as a second-degree misdemeanor for first-time offenders. And if you are convicted, you could face 60 day jail time and a US$500 fine.

Two-time offenders, if convicted, could face up to one year jail time and up to US$1,000 fine.

And if an offender is fortunate to get a third conviction, that could result in a third-degree felony charge. And the penalty for that is up to five years imprisonment and a possible fine US$5,000.

Kymani Marley notably starred in the 2002 movie Shottas, among several others.
